You can currently find the following Crunch Cookie flavors at our stores and online: Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, Assorted Chocolate, Cocoa Dusted White Chocolate Truffle, White Chocolate Cappuccino, Dutch Stroopwafel Flavor, Sea Salt Caramel, Rum, Raspberry Cheesecake, Unicorn (candy coated) and Mini Assorted Chocolates. We carry 12 different varieties and we continue to add more to our collection. There are over 40 different Chocolate Crunch Cookie flavors. The Chocolate Crunch Cookies can also be added to desserts, cupcakes, cakes, added to breakfast in cereal, or even (In our opinion) the yummiest option: enjoyed with a nice glass of milk for a midnight snack! After the cookies are baked, they can be served right away, or dipped in a layer of different flavors of chocolate. The Crunch Cookie can be described as a spiced, dough-based cookie, baked in a round shape in the oven. The cookies were traditionally eaten during the celebration of Saint Nick, however, a few years ago, manufacturers started enrobing them in various flavors of chocolate and now they are enjoyed year-round! Although the first known written recipe of a Kruidnoot dates back to 1864, these treats have been around much longer.
When December rolls around in the Netherlands, the grocery store shelves are packed with this Saint Nick treat. Originally called a ‘kruidnoot’ in Dutch, our signature Crunch Cookie comes with a rich history. Stir in the puffed quinoa and coconut until everything is incorporated. If the chocolate is not melted all the way, microwave for another 30 seconds then stir again. Microwave on hight for 30 seconds and then stir. Add the chocolate to a microwave safe bowl.
